On-Site Training

The flexibility of our in-house first aid training gives you the opportunity to have your staff trained onsite and at your convenience with minimal disruption or you can be trained at our training centres in either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

This is a first aid appointed persons course, covering assessing the casualty, shock, heart attack, bleeding, eye injury, head injury, broken bones, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and burns.

This one-day course will help you meet your regulatory requirements if your risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace.

Who should attend?

This course is designed for people who want to receive training in emergency first aid and is especially suited for nominated first aiders in smaller, low risk working environments.

The content of this course provides basic life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, covering the following:

  • The role of the first aider
  • Managing an emergency
  • Communication and casualty care
  • Bleeding (minor and severe)
  • Burns
  • Choking (Adult)
  • Fainting
  • Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations
  • Resuscitation (Adult CPR)
  • Seizures (Adult)
  • Shock
  • Unconscious casualty

This course lasts one day.

Successful candidates will receive a Emergency First Aid Certificate.

Assessment

Written assessment and continuous observation by the trainer.
